Civil War Comes to the Pioneer Village

 We will bring you historically accurate speakers around the Village along with period authentic re-enactors. This event truly is set apart from others with our period authentic buildings giving the setting for the re-enactors.

The kids and adults alike will love seeing History come to life as the Pioneer Village will be inhabited by Civil War soldiers. All participants will be in authentic gear and will be educating about the Civil War and what life was like during that time period. The soldiers will have their encampments around the Village and will be helping us by presenting a living history of the Civil War.

As the event gets closer we will publish schedules and have them available at the gate so everyone will know what time any special events are occurring (we usually have a few different speakers and they speak and specific times).

This year we will be presenting this as more of a living history event where everyone can really learn how life was for the soldiers during the Civil War.
